within the 400 year old James' Court. The accomodation which
is located on the ground level is accessed via its own private
entrance and consists of open plan living/sleeping area
The apartment itself is steeped in
history and character having played host to such prominent
literary figures as James Boswell and Dr Samuel Johnson. Every
attempt has been made to compliment the traditional feel of the
property by using local artisans to handcraft the carpentry
and ironworks.
With prior approval, on arrival your bags can be left in the apartment
after 11.00am. On the day of
departure, your bags can be left in the apartment till 2.00pm.

Living room
The main living area features
original exposed stone walls and cedar ceiling and is sumptuously
furnished with oxblood leather chesterfield seating and footstools
alongside a Jotul cast iron stove, there is a small dining area
seating four, overlooking the courtyard. Sadditional facilities
include cable tv, dvd, cd/radio, broadband internet connection, iron,
ironing table, hairdryer and a travel cot is available on
request.
In addition to the main wardrobes
there is an under stair storage cupboard for coats and luggage.

Kitchen Area
Should you choose to dine "at
home", the kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, extractor
hood, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine/dryer, microwave,
waste disposal, toaster, kettle and a good range of pots,
pans,crockery, cutlery etc.
Bedroom Area
with a luxurious double
bed which pulls out of the stunning library style
bookcase, a second double bed is siuated on the mezanine
level and features a wonderful wrought iron ballustade,
stained glass window panel and hanging tapestry.

The fully tiled bathroom consists of 3
piece suite with tiled floor, chrome towel shelf, mirrored cabinet, stained
glass roof panel and a Mira sport 10.8 kw instant shower.
Additional
Electricity, linen
and towels are included in the price. Clean linen and towels
are provided. There is an iron and an
ironing board in the flat.
