This self catering Edinburgh apartment is a third floor flat set in a historic building located within The Grassmarket. It is in a Listed Building within a Conservation Area and is part of of Edinburgh's World Heritage Site.  The building has many architectural features including a castellated roof line and turrets. The comfortable apartment has recently been refurbished to a high standard in a modern style, and comprises an entrance hall, a living room with a fitted kitchen, a double bedroom, a bathroom with a bath and shower and a small entrance hall.  The apartment is located in the Grassmarket square. The Grassmarket is a lively and vibrant area in the heart of Edinburgh's Old Town, making it popular with tourists and locals alike.

The living room  is a stylish, modern and spacious room with two leather sofas and a  wide screen TV, free view satellite, and DVD player.  There are also a foldaway single bed, and a travel cot is available on request. The window view from this room has spectacular views to Edinburgh castle. The apartment is warm and comfortable.

The newly fitted kitchen is well equipped, with a wide range of good quality utensils and equipment Including a cooker, hob, fridge, washing machine, and microwave. The kitchen is separated from the living area by a breakfast bar.

Bedroom

There is a bathroom which has a bath with an electric shower, a  toilet, and a wash-hand basin.  There are shelves for toiletries.

Electricity, linen and towels are included in the price. Clean linen and towels are provided. There is an iron and an ironing board in the flat.  There is a foldaway bed and a travel cot can be provided on request.  A high chair and children's plates and cutlery can be provided on request at no extra cost.

Access to the Apartment

Please note the self catering apartment is located on the 3rd floor . There is no lift and access is from the very secure communal stairs.

The apartment is located in the Grassmarket area which lies in the very heart of central Edinburgh. It is close to Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile, which leads down to Holyrood Palace. It is a 5 to 10 minute walk to most of the city centre attractions, including  Princess Street Gardens, the Royal Mile, the Castle, museum, and art galleries.  The Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC) just as 10 minute walk from the apartments.
